A federal court of appeals has overturned a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) rule on the disclosure of genetically engineered (GE or GMO) foods.
The court of appeals determined that the QR code section should be vacated, or made null and void.
This decision is a win for the public's right to know about GMOs in their food.
