New Cobs Bread Location Opens in Stratford
The new Cobs Bread bakery at Stratford Mall is excited to be involved in the community. Owners Sara Lisk and Jerry Arai are looking to make connections and support local organizations.
On its second day of business, the bakery was packed, with
“full shelves and full lobbies since we opened”, according to co-owner Sara Lisk. The community showed up to support the new location, despite the gloomy weather.
Lisk and Arai, who also own two Cobs Bread stores in London, chose Stratford for their third location because of the community. Lisk explained,
“It’s my favourite part of what I do, just being able to be in the community, make connections, support organizations, and just kind of get to know everybody”. She believes that
“communities are stronger when we’re together”.
