Uzbekistan: Proposed Law Threatens Photojournalism
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is concerned about a bill passed by the Lower House of the Uzbek parliament, which would ban photographing and filming people in public without their consent.
If passed, the law would restrict journalists' work in a country with widespread censorship and surveillance.
