Action Plan for Vietnam-UK Partnership
Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung and British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper agreed to build an action plan for the new Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The meeting occurred in London on October 30, during Party General Secretary To Lam's official visit to the UK.
Cooper spoke highly of both sides' efforts to upgrade relations and welcomed the signing of several agreements, including a migration agreement and memoranda of understanding on cooperation in science, technology, education, training, and health.
