Sheriff's Halloween Operation Nets Sex Offenders in The Villages
A special Halloween operation by the Sumter County Sheriff's Office, dubbed Operation Ghost Town, resulted in the arrest of two sexual predators and eight sex offenders, including three residing in The Villages.
- Todd Michael Anselm, 55, of Alexandria Villas in the Village of Belle Aire, convicted in 2005 of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Lake County, Illinois.
- Derrick Andrew Kehoe, 56, of 985 Caribou Way in the Village of Virginia Trace, convicted in 1988 of indecent assault and battery on a child in Salem, Mass.
According to Sheriff Pat Breeden,
Operation Ghost Townled to the arrest of these individuals, with Anselm facing three felony sex offender violations and being released after posting $7,500 bond.
