Empty Stocking Fund Applications
The Empty Stocking Fund will begin taking applications on Thursday.
A local mother of four, Stephanie Hall, utilized the fund last year to provide Christmas presents for her children. Hall, a single mother, struggled to make ends meet and relied on the fund to bring joy to her family on Christmas morning.
“With me doing everything by myself as a single mother, and paying all the bills by myself, I really don’t have any money left over,”
“With the (Empty) Stocking Fund, it helped me to be able to have that completed for my kids.”
Hall encourages other families to take advantage of the Empty Stocking Fund, saying
“the help is there”and it can make a significant difference in their Christmas celebration.
