POP Chairman Lawrence Hamm Urges New Yorkers To Vote For Mamdani
A well-known New Jersey-based political and civil rights activist, Lawrence Hamm, is urging voters to cast their ballots for Zohran Mamdani in the New York mayoral race.
"I urge all New Yorkers who have not cast their ballots during early voting to vote for Mamdani on Election Day,"
Hamm, chairman of the Newark-based People’s Organization For Progress (POP), made this statement ahead of Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th. POP is an all-volunteer grassroots organization that works for racial, social, economic justice, and peace.
