Iran has pledged to swiftly rebuild its nuclear sites after the US-Israeli attacks in June, insisting its programme serves peaceful, civilian goals.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeskhian stated that Tehran aims to rebuild nuclear facilities damaged in the attacks. During a visit to the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI), Pezeshkian said:
“Destroying buildings and factories will not create a problem for us. We will rebuild and with greater strength.”
He stressed that Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapons programme, insisting its plans are purely civilian.
