During a White House press conference announcing a new agreement on weight-loss drugs, Novo Nordisk executive Gordon Findlay suddenly collapsed while standing behind President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
Witnesses said Findlay’s knees buckled before administration officials and representatives from the pharmaceutical industry quickly rushed to assist him and stop him from hitting the floor.
“During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted. The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay. The press conference will resume shortly.”

Reporters noted that Dr. Mehmet Oz, Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, helped lower Findlay to the ground to prevent possible injury. After the incident, journalists were escorted out of the room as cabinet members attended to the executive.
