The EastEnders actress, 42, surprised fans in June by revealing difficult experiences during her school years, claiming her famous classmate Paloma Faith had bullied her.
Natalie Cassidy has renewed her conflict with Paloma Faith, reaffirming the bullying claims from their school days. In response, Paloma shared her own experiences of being bullied shortly after.
Natalie emphasized that classmates were envious of her early success, having joined EastEnders at age 10. She described the show’s set as her safe haven during challenging school times.
“There wasn't anywhere else I wanted to be. Maybe because when I wasn't there, school was difficult, people were jealous. You know, there was bullying that went on. So I always just wanted to be there because it was so fun and I was surrounded by nice people.”
Speaking on Katherine Ryan's podcast, Natalie explained how the EastEnders set provided relief from the hostility she faced at school, although she did not directly mention Paloma Faith during this appearance.
