A 10,000mAh power bank seems, in theory, enough to recharge the ~5,000mAh battery in a Pixel 10, 10 Pro, or 10 Pro XL twice. However, real-world testing proves it’s only good for a single full charge.

If you recently purchased a Google Pixel 10 device, you’ve likely checked out Qi2 and Qi2 25W accessories: from the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand to magnetic wallets and MagSafe-style tripods. All these accessories are appealing, but the one that caught the most attention was the new Qi2 power bank.
The concept is simple — attach it magnetically to the back of the phone for fast, wireless, tangle-free charging. In testing several models, though, it became clear that practical performance differs from expectations: a 10,000mAh power bank just doesn’t deliver more than one full charge to a Pixel 10 series phone.
Two well-known models were tested: one by UGREEN (retailing for $89.99 on Amazon) and one by Baseus ($45.49 on Amazon). Both advertise 10,000mAh capacity batteries, Qi2.2 25W wireless charging, and integrated USB-C cables — rated at 30W for UGREEN and 45W for Baseus.
To ensure accuracy, both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL were completely drained to 0%, cases removed to minimize heat buildup, and then recharged via the power banks. Despite their specifications, both devices only achieved one complete charge from these portable batteries.
If you plan to rely on a Qi2 power bank for your Pixel 10, keep in mind that the advertised 10,000mAh capacity isn’t enough for two full charges — one cycle is the most you’ll realistically get.
Author’s Summary: Real testing shows that 10,000mAh Qi2 power banks recharge a Pixel 10 series phone only once, making capacity claims less impressive than expected.
