Windows 10 Extended Security Updates
Windows 10 has reached its End of Life on October 14, 2025, but users can extend its lifespan through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.
To enroll in the ESU program, users can click "Enroll now" on the Windows Update page, link their Microsoft account, and sync Settings to OneDrive. However, users in the EU only need a Microsoft account for free Windows 10 ESU.
- Users outside the EU region need to sync Settings to OneDrive.
- In the US, users can also use 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points to sign up for Windows 10 ESU.
Microsoft offers a $30 ESU subscription for users who do not have a Microsoft account or Rewards points.
