Unprovoked Assault in Ridgewood Subway Station
Police from the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood are searching for a woman who punched an L train rider during a random assault.
The incident occurred on the night of Thursday, Oct, at the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue subway station. A 30-year-old victim was waiting on the northbound L train platform when a stranger approached her and punched her in the face without saying a word.
- The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
- The suspect was last seen wearing a green sweatsuit and has a dark complexion.
No words were exchanged before the attack.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect from inside the Ridgewood subway station.
