George Strait Teases 2026 Announcement
Country music fans are in a frenzy as George Strait hints at a 2026 announcement with a throwback festival poster.
Although Strait ended his long tour runs after the Cowboy Rides Away tour in 2014, he continues to perform on stage. Recently, he has been doing a limited number of shows, including performances with Chris Stapleton in 2024 and this year.
In 2024, Strait set a record for the largest single-ticketed concert in U.S. history with 110,905 fans at Texas A&M Kyle Field. This performance was one of only 10 live shows he did last year, which also included a stop at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for his 37th Strait to Vegas residency show.
However, Zach Bryan has since broken Strait's record for the largest single-ticketed concert in the U.S.
