On Friday, paramedics attended three separate car crashes within a half-hour in the Lake Macquarie area.
A crash on the Pacific Highway at Charlestown, which occurred at approximately 10:30am on October 17, resulted in the highway being closed in both directions, causing heavy traffic conditions.
Emergency services, including Transport for NSW and a tow truck, were present at the scene, with diversions in place while the crash site was cleared.
No one was seriously injured.
