A German museum has been overrun by Taylor Swift fans due to a painting resembling a scene from her video "The Fate of Ophelia".
The Hessische Landesmuseum in Wiesbaden saw hundreds of additional visitors over the weekend, including a family from Hamburg and American families stationed at a US base.
- The visitors came to see an Art Nouveau painting by Friedrich Heyser featuring Ophelia from William Shakespeare's play.
- The painting bears a striking resemblance to the opening scene of Swift's current No. 1 hit video.
"The Fate of Ophelia" video sparked the interest of Swifties in the museum's artwork.
