Yukon Elections: Voter Turnout Reaches 22.5%
Elections Yukon has released the voter turnout rates for advanced polls and special ballots. As of now, 8,060 eligible electors have cast their votes out of 35,764 total Yukon voters, resulting in a 22.5% voter turnout.
According to David Rozsa, the training and communications coordinator for the territorial elections office, this number combines all votes received by special ballot and at advanced polls across the territory. Rozsa stated,
We’re still just waiting to see what happens. It can be pretty unpredictable with elections.

- Votes cast: 8,060
- Voter turnout: 22.5%
- Total candidates: 61
- Independent candidates: 1
- Yukon Liberal Party candidates: 18
- Yukon NDP and Yukon Party candidates: 21
