According to Forrester analysts, economic constraints will hinder European companies from achieving technological independence by 2026.

no European company will be able to completely move away from US hyperscalers by 2026, states Forrester's 2026 European Predictions.
The impact of individual industries migrating to niche applications on the overall European cloud market is expected to be small, as a complete switch to local providers is
not realistic in the short to medium term.
Major players such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure will likely continue to dominate the market.
