New Cinema in Stretford Town Centre
A new cinema, Northern Light Cinema, is set to open in Stretford town centre on Pinnington Lane in March 2026.
The family-run business will show a curated programme of new releases, family favourites, cult classics, live stream events, and community-led events.
"We're not just opening a cinema – we're building a cultural hub. Stretford has a vibrant community, and we're excited to bring our service-led ethos and love of film to this fantastic neighbourhood."
The venue will feature a cosy café-bar serving locally sourced food.
According to Chris Houghton, retail and leisure manager at Bruntwood,
"The opening of a new cinema represents a milestone in the development of Stretford town centre."
