Achievements of Over 100 Apprentices Celebrated at Graduation Ceremony

The dedication and achievements of more than 100 apprentices from across Wales were honored by Cambrian Training Company at a graduation ceremony held on Tuesday, 4 November, in Mid Wales.

The event in Llanelwedd was combined with the Mid Wales leg of the Roadtrip to Excellence Team Wales torch relay, which celebrates Wales hosting the WorldSkills UK National Finals apprenticeship competition for the first time from November 25 to 28.

Message from the Managing Director

Faith O’Brien, managing director of Cambrian Training Company, congratulated the graduates: “You are not just building your careers, you are shaping the future of Wales. The skills you’ve gained are tools. How you use them, adapt them and build with them is your next chapter. Keep learning, growing and remember: every challenge is a chance to shape your future.”

She shared that over 540 apprentices completed their frameworks in the past six months, highlighting these as “stories of growth, resilience and ambition.”

Graduate Highlights

Five apprentices from the supported shared apprenticeship programme graduated at the ceremony:

Holly Curtis – Level 2 Cleaning and Support Services Skills
Alaw Williams – Level 2 Diploma in Hospitality Services
Dion Dimitrakis – Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
Matthew Ball – Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration
Malachi De Jesus – Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration

The event celebrated their commitment and their contributions to the skilled workforce in Wales.
