Nigerian to be Deported Over Involvement in Gaza Aid Flotilla

Freeman described the voyage as a public relations stunt disguised as a humanitarian mission, stating that the organisers' actions were not aimed at providing genuine relief to Palestinians but rather at demonising Israel.

Freeman noted that the organisers refused to pass the aid to Israel, despite the Pope's intervention, which would have guaranteed its delivery to Gaza.
