Celebrini opened the scoring just 1:08 into the first period with a wrist shot after receiving a pass from Toffoli. About midway through the first period, Seattle's Ryan Winterton scored his first NHL goal to tie the game at 1-1.
"I was just in the slot and just there to put it in. [Smith and Toffoli], they did a great job, getting on their D and forcing a turnover," Celebrini said.
Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky praised the team's penalty kill and noted their gameplay improved as the match progressed.
"Our penalty kill was really good tonight. So that helps. I thought our game got better as the game went on."
Seattle's goalie Joey Daccord made 15 saves before being replaced by Matt Murray who contributed three saves in relief. Kraken coach Lane Lambert commented on his team's performance.
"Disconnected in a bunch of different areas. Our structure wasn't good enough tonight."
The Kraken ended their five-game homestand with a 2-1-2 record, now standing at 6-3-4 for the season, while the Sharks improved to 5-6-3.
