New California Law Expands Newsom's Mental Health Court
A new law signed by Gavin Newsom expands the eligibility for CARE Court, a mental health program, to include people with bipolar disorder who experience psychotic symptoms.
Previously, only individuals with schizophrenia and other limited psychotic disorders were eligible for the program.
