Riders of the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry route will need to plan ahead for a series of cancellations early next year.
Nine weekdays of midday sailing cancellations are expected in January and February due to construction work at the Mukilteo terminal.
Good visibility is needed, and work must stop if a protected marine mammal is spotted.
The last morning sailings will be the 8:30 a.m. during the affected periods.
