Megyn Kelly delivered a harsh critique of the Republican Party following significant losses on Election Day. She accused fellow conservatives of lacking the ability to win independently of Donald Trump’s leadership.
On "The Megyn Kelly Show" aired Wednesday afternoon, Kelly addressed the election results that favored Democrats in key areas including California, New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City.
“The Republican party needs to get its s–t together ASAP,” Kelly declared in her latest episode.
She expressed frustration with the party's priorities leading up to the elections.
“I’m really glad we spent the past couple of weeks, as Sean Davis of the Federalist put it, policing some young person’s group chat. What a podcast host said and what the head of a think tank over at Heritage had to say. I’m really glad that the Republicans devoted so much time to that. That was a great move.”
Kelly accused Republicans of embracing defeat and conflict.
“The Republicans like to lose. They enjoy when they are embattled and in a losing position and complaining. They do it really well.”
She emphasized that strength in the party comes mostly from Trump himself.
“Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to run,” Kelly said. “They don’t know what to do when daddy’s not there to fly them across the finish line. And that’s just been so obvious.”
Megyn Kelly sharply criticizes the Republican Party’s inability to succeed without Trump, highlighting its tendency to focus on distractions and accept defeat.
