Flood Alerts in Southampton
Residents in Southampton have been urged to activate flood defences as flood alerts have been issued.
The Environment Agency has sent alerts for the coast around Southampton Water, including Calshot, Lepe, and the Hamble Estuary, as well as the River Itchen around Mansbridge and Riverside Park.
- Residents are advised to avoid using low-lying footpaths and bridges near local watercourses.
- Flooding is possible for an hour either side of high tides tonight at 9:45pm and 11:46pm.
